RAIPUR :- Heads of Maintenance Planning (MTP) Meet was held at NTPC Nava Raipur on October 31, 2023 wherein heads of MTP Department from across NTPC stations and projects attended. The program was inaugurated by Shri C Sivakumar, Regional Executive Director (WR-II, USSC & Ash NI) and Sh Arindam Sinha, Executive Director (OS).
Speaking on the occasion, Shri C Sivakumar underlined the importance of MTP in overhaul and running the plant with efficiency.
He further emphasized on the role of maintenance planning to ensure availability & reliability of equipment. Sstandardization of process as well as implementation and adherence of safety framework is also critical, he added.
Earlier, in his opening remark, ED-OS, Shri Arindam Sinha stressed on the importance of timely and high-quality overhauls. He asked the participants to focus on inventory management besides competency enhancement. He also emphasized on the need of achieving 100% OPI (Overhauling Preparedness Index) before start of overhauls.
On this occasion, while a booklet on ‘MMSD Compendium of Circulars’ was released by RED (WR-II, USSC & Ash NI), the new website of MMSD was launched by ED (OS).
The event marked with presentation on various critical aspects of maintenance besides open house discussion and sharing the best practices.
