NTPC Naya Raipur celebrated 77th Republic Day with patriotic fervor on January 26,
2026. At a programme held at its office premises, Chief Guest Shri Neeraj Jalota, RED (WR-
II) & ED (USSC) unfurled the tricolour. The theme for 2026 is the 150th anniversary of "Vande
Mataram” and mark this occasion all joined for mass singing of Vande Mataram.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Jalota spoke on the significance of Republic Day and
NTPC’s contribution in development of the country. He highlighted NTPC’s recent
achievement and the opportunities and challenges ahead. He also threw light on NTPC’s
efforts in environment-friendly power generation as well as reliable and sustainable
power supply.
He also appreciated NTPC Western Region-II stations (Lara, Sipat & Korba in Chhattisgarh;
and Gadarwara & Khargone in Madhya Pradesh) for their outstanding achievements in
plant performance, project execution, new initiatives and receiving awards and
recognitions.
Shri Jalota also spoke on NTPC Nava Raipur office’s achievement in the areas of USSC,
Ash New Initiative, Safety, Operation Services, Commercial, Station Engineering, HR, CSR
and other departments.
Later, all joined the symbolic release of Tri-colour balloons. The Republic Day Celebration
also witnessed Cultural programme arranged by Arpita Mahila Samiti which was well
appreciated by all.
On this occasion, Meritorious Award was given to 42 employees for their excellent
performance. Prizes also distributed among the winners of Medha Pratiyogita, Power Quiz
and Vigilance Awareness Week.
Shri B N Jha, ED-OS; CGMs, GMs, office bearers of Arpita Mahila Samiti, Officials and their
family members were present on the occasion.
